Philmont 2010

Philmot Crew List

November 14th, 2009

Greeting Philmont participants.

Since our last meeting we have had some more input in the form of questionnaires returned, the type of trek requested and some new participants, so...we have had to redo the crews.  Again, I have spent significant time reviewing your questionnaires and your comments and have tried to come up with the best crews we can.  Considerations including pairing boys with their dad's (if going), with at least one friend requested or allowing for the type of trek requested.

It is really time that we start contacting Philmont to reserve our treks, so any further delays in setting up our crews could cost us in the ability to choose the trek we want.

I would like to suggest that we meet again before the meeting this Monday night, say at 7:00 to get into the new crews and choose a new leader.  Please accept my apology for having to redo all of this.  It is very important to me that we have good crews that work for everyone.

If you can not make it to the meeting on Monday, please e-mail me and let me know if you would like to run for crew leader or who you would like to vote for, if they run.  We will not dedicate much time for other questions, but as always, will try to answer any that come up.  Before the meeting you might want to check out the available treks  at:  www.philsearch.org

Thanks for your participation in this wonderful opportunity that you will remember for all of your life.
