The cost is $10 and registrations are due by the January 4 meeting (no late registrations allowed).

Please make your merit badge selections as soon as possible, and turn in your selections at one of our Monday meetings to Mrs. Koupal so you won't miss out. 

This is a great way to earn two (or more) merit badges. 

NOTE:
DO NOT REGISTER DIRECTLY WITH THE DISTRICT.  All registrations MUST come through the Troop. 

Astronomy Merit Badge

February, 2010 Campout

When: February 20, 2010
Where:  Hutchinson, Kansas
Depart:  Education Center 7:00 AM Saturday, February 20th
Return:  Education Center  12:00PM - 12:30 PM Sunday, February 21st
Cost: $45 scouts / $20 adults – plus food ($5-$10)
Registration End:  Friday, February 5th, 2010

The program will offer the following activities:

 + Astronomy Merit Badge
 + Examine the stars and planets in the
    night sky
 + Tour of the Hall of Space Museum
 + View a show in the Justice Planetarium
 + Experience a movie in the Carey IMAX®
    Dome Theater
 + Dinner is provided

Personal Fitness Merit Badge

When: 6:30 PM (before weekly mtg)
            February 8th 
            February 22nd 
            March 1st

Where: Ed Center, Bistro

Instructor:  John Ott and Derek Jacobs
 
This is a new session for the Personal Fitness merit badge.  If you are just starting, be prepared to talk about what questions your doctor or dentist asked at your last examination.
 
If you missed a session or two last Fall this is the opportunity to complete any requirements missed.
